The service
Same Pen is an independent companion experience for Apple Music. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. Apple and Apple Music are trademarks of Apple Inc.
Apple Music subscription
To use the connected experience you need an active Apple Music subscription (Individual, Family, or Student). Without one, Apple's MusicKit will not issue a music-user-token and the app will operate in demo mode.
Acceptable use
Don't try to scrape, abuse, or otherwise damage the service. Don't use it to violate Apple's Apple Music terms of service. Recommendations are algorithmic interpretations of your listening signals and writer metadata — we don't guarantee any particular discovery.
Content & playlists
Music, artwork, and metadata come from Apple Music. When you save a playlist, it is created in your Apple Music library and governed by Apple's terms. You can delete or modify it at any time from Apple Music.
No warranty
The service is provided as-is, without warranty. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we don't promise specific availability, correctness, or fitness for any purpose.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any change.
